BioBots Friday Field Trip

Join us for Robot Science! Join us for an exciting STEAMventure as we take a deep dive into engineering and computer science with a hands-on learning experience led by Manatee County Natural Resources Department.

Robots help scientists study nature, reaching depths never explored. Imagine how far into space or deep into the ocean robots can reach! Work with your lab partner to code a robot using colors and explore how robots study the natural world.

This is a two-hour program that takes place in the classroom at Emerson Point Preserve and is led by educators from Manatee County Department of Natural Resources. Parents are welcome to drop off or remain on-site to enjoy the preserve while class is in session.

***Pack a light lunch and water, a sunhat and bugspray/sunscreen, if you’d like to stay and enjoy lunch afterwards.
